Coach Paul Bentz has been recognized as the West Region and National Inspiring Track & Field Coach of the Year by the Brooks Running Inspiring Coaches Program!
This honor is a reflection of his dedication, passion, and the positive impact he has
had on the lives of his athletes. Each year, Brooks Running selects coaches who go above and beyond to inspire the next generation of runners, shaping not just athletes but individuals who strive to be the best versions of themselves.
For over a decade, the program has received thousands of nominations from students across the country. This year, Coach Bentz was nominated by members of our own running community, and the stories shared were nothing short of inspiring.
In the words of his athletes: “Coach Paul is always there for us with a steady and constant stream of support and confidence when we need it. And he teaches us what it means to be a good person, not just a good athlete.”
This recognition is a testament to Coach Bentz's unwavering commitment to the Vale High School track team, his dedication to instilling values of both athleticism and character, and the lasting impact he has made on the lives of his athletes. It’s clear that our running community is better because of him.
As part of this prestigious award, Coach Bentz and the Vale High School Track team will receive up to $17,000 in gear and a $1,000 cash donation to support their program.
